It's How I Rock!

This year Santa brought Ben a drum set. He LOVES it and plays all the time... allllll the time!

I've been trying to get a video of him "drumming" some Blink182 songs but haven't been able to catch him. So as soon as I get the video I will post it.

Annnnyway. I was in his room last night and looked over at the drum set and this is what has happened to the drum set and MY WALL! This boy is serious about his drummin'! I've gotta find someone that does drum lessons!

If you look you can see the dent right in the middle of the bass drum.

The sticks have broke and been taped back together... then broke again. (Don't worry for Ben's Birthday I found some TRAVIS BARKER drum sticks!!)

Dear Matt,

Happy Father's Day to a wonderful Husband and Daddy! Thank you for the following:

* Taking care of Ben while I go workout, play Bunco, or go shopping... and not calling it babysitting.

* Giving Ben baths.

* Playing Legos with Ben...EVERYDAY ;-)

* Knowing Ben's favorite foods, bedtime routines, and other quirks.

* Speaking of Ben with pride.

* Missing Ben and I while you are at work (at least just a little bit).

* Putting up pictures of Ben in your cubicle at work.

* Asking about Ben's friends, teachers, and what he has done during the day.

* Swimming and catching Ben over, and over again in the pool.

* Working very hard so that I can stay home with our son!!!!

And the many, many other things you do for us!

Vacation Bible School

I am serving at VBS for the first time EVER at my church! I was so nervous about having my own class... I've always just been a helper at the preschool. The kids are older 2's and 3 year olds... and just sweet as can be! They keep me on my toes and are full of energy. One of the things I had to do was decorate my door/room. I just did a few things in the room. Here is some pictures of my decorations.

Last Game Of The Season

Saturday was Ben's last Tball game. It was sooooo hot!!!! Ben was miserable and didn't want to take any pictures... so this is all I got.

A Little Dinner Conversation

When Ben was around 3 years old he started joining in on Matt and I's dinner conversation. Ben would say things like "I fired Dave today" or "Bob and I were busy today". Sometimes he would get on the phone and have phone conversations with Bob or Dave. He would tell them to "GET TO WORK" and ask "Are you coming to work or not". Eventually he added another employee "Willard". I am not sure where he got these names!

He doesn't really talk about his "employees" any more but last night Matt wasn't home from work yet. Ben and I sat down to eat dinner and he took the roll of "man" hehehe. Here is our conversation.

The First Week of June

We had a very busy, fun filled week!

Tuesday I took Ben bowling.

Tuesday night we had to go to a birthday party. My niece, Riley Jett, turned 2 years old.
