Track & Field Day!

Ben has been so excited for Track & Field Day at school! They have been practicing in P.E. for months so all the kids we're ready to show off their skills :)
It was a beautiful (windyyyyy) day! Ben did every event (and made me stay all day)!
I love the pictures I got of Ben and his class. Even though they may argue (and the boys occasionally throw a couple slap/punches/shoves) you can see that they all love each other so much! All day they cheered, helped, and played with each other. I LOVE BEN'S CLASS- Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Jones have done a great job with these kids :)

I took so many pictures, so here is a little slid show of Track & Field Day! ENJOY!

Easter Egg Time!

Ben decorated his Easter eggs today!

Nothing says Happy Easter like Sponge Bob ;)

It's Sno Cone Season!

Since about February I've been CRAVING sno cones! Well today one sno cone stand finally opened I had no idea this would be such an event!!!
This was the line (most of it) at 11am! People camped out and the line was this long ALL DAY!

Well around 430pm it started storming! Rain, hail, lightning, thunder, strong winds. So I knew my
chances of getting that sno cone today had just improved! haha!
So Matt took us after dinner and there was no line!!!

Matt with his usual-grape & green apple. Ben with a SpongeBob-banana & vanilla.

One happy pregnant lady!!!! (this is not a good angel for me-yikes!)

Grandparents Day!

Thursday at Ben's school was Grandparents Day! He was so excited to have Pops, Gigi, & Papa John come to his school!!!
Guess Ben didn't want his picture taken-little turkey!

Ben's class singing to the Grandparents-It was so cute!!!

Ben showing them his class and the picture he made each of them!

Thank you Pops, Gigi, & Papa John for coming to Grandparents Day!!!!

Ball Park Fun!

We've got a lot of ball games this season! Between practices and games we are out at the ball park a lot! Ben and Matt love it!!!
One good thing about baseball season- seeing friends and family all the time at the ball park!!!
Ben and his buddy Brady!

Ben the Mover

Ben was a HUGE help during the move! Who knew a 5 year old could/would want to work so hard!!!
He helped pack, carry things, and then Tuesday he helped me clean the old house for the new people moving in!
Matt is going to have to give Ben double allowance this week :)

Memories

We sold our house. YAY! Sad :(
We are now packing up and moving to a 2 bedroom apartment. Our new house won't be done until August or September. I am very grateful that our house sold so quickly! But we are NOT excited about living in an apartment for 4-6 months!
My pregnancy hormones don't help either! I am sad about leaving our first home :( This is the house that Matt and I bought the first year we were married. It's the house we brought our first born home to. It's the house that Ben learned to crawl, walk, swim, play baseball in, stand in front of the house to take pictures on his first day of school in. Just so many things!!! We've had many family and friend gatherings at this house.
Ben swimming... he's about 9 months old :) LOVE THIS PICTURE!

Ben and Landon! So cute!!!

OH MY WORD!!! I can't hardly look at this with out crying! Look at those wrists :)

Matt built the playset with the help of his brothers. Ben is really going to miss this!

I know we will make LOTS of memories in the new house. Ben and baby Reese will grow up there. Moving right now is just a little hard for this momma right now-haha.

(this is our lot. that house back there is NOT ours...that's the house behind ours.)

I just wanted to post some of my favorite pictures from the fun we had in our old backyard. BACK TO PACKING-woot!

Spring Time Fun in K4!

Ben's class has been having all kinds of fun lately!!!!

Last week a Grandma of one of the girls in Ben's class brought baby chicks and bunnies for the kids to hold!

Today I joined Ben's class for a field trip to Blue Bell Ice Cream. The kids had a blast touring and getting ice cream! Then we had a picnic at the park and they played all afternoon!

Ben LOVES school and I am so grateful that he can go to such a WONDERFUL school!

20 Weeks!!!

I am 20 weeks today! Yahoooo, half way there :)

I had a scheduled ultrasound today -yay!! I took my Mom so she could see the baby. Baby girl is still a baby girl-heehee! Everything looks good! She weighs about 13 ounces and is right on track. I gained 2 more pounds so I've gained a total of 7 pounds... so far ;) The ultrasound tech gave me lots of pictures so I could show Matt and Ben how big our baby girl is getting!
Baby girl Reese also got her first present today!!! My sweet friend Marcy got Reese the tiniest little pink jellies sandals from Oldnavy :0 They are ADORABLE!!!
Thank you, Miss Marcy!!!

Today after school we went to the park to meet some of our favorite people!

"HERE THEY COME!"
Ben & Landon!

Sweet Macee!

The Catcher

At Tuesday nights game Ben played catcher for the first time. He looked ADORABLE in all the gear haha! Ben said he liked playing catcher but he likes playing first base better :)
My little catcher!

GO TIGERS!!!

Today was Ben's first baseball game of the season!
This year he is playing Tiger 5 ball. Tiger 5 ball is coach pitch (3 pitches) and if they can't hit the pitched ball they get to use the tee. Lots of new rules this year... like outs-YIKES!

Ben had fun! His first time up to bat he hit the pitched ball and got a run in with that hit.
He did a great job playing first base too!

We are all very excited for this season of baseball. I can't wait to see how the team does this year!
Plus we get to see lots of Landon :)
