Let Me Check My List

We took Ben to The Castle tonight to buy fireworks. He was all ready with his list in hand :)

He was excited to get EVERYTHING on his list and MORE!!!!

Makin' His List

Ben made a list of all the fireworks he "needs" to buy!

He also check marked things in a little firework catalog we got in the mail... He's been looking and carrying this thing around for a week now!

It's hard to believe that this boy hated fireworks 2 years ago! Matt's taking Ben and his list tomorrow to get the fireworks :)

B.T.R. CONCERT!

Last night we went to the Big Time Rush concert! B.T.R. is Ben's favorite right now :)

The concert was at a water park so Ben played for a little while!

Then we headed over to the stage to watch the concert. It was a good little concert! The band only played a few songs-which was perfect because Ben was getting sleepy!!! I think Ben had a lot of fun! And he got his first concert tee :)

Painting Pottery

Christy and Landon invited us to go paint pottery last Monday! The kids loved it! I want to go back with no kids so I can paint something :)

A Baby Shower For Reese!

My sweet friend, Tonya and my Sister In Law, Christy threw me the best baby shower yesterday! Everything was done in pink and leopard print!!! They did such an amazing job-it had to have been a lot of work!

He's A Fish

Ben had his last swim lesson today. They showed all the parents everything they learned. The teacher also showed the parents what we can do to help the kids keep up with what they learned. At the end of the lesson the teacher dumped all kinds of change in the kiddie pool. Then all the kids got in and went on a treasure hunt :) She said this is a good way to have them practice floating on their bellies and holding their breath.

I can't believe all the things that Ben learned in just 8 lessons! He really enjoyed them too :)

A House Of Bricks (and stone)!

They started the brick and stone work on the new house! It looks so good! We are happy to see that the first thing we had to pick out (the color of brick & stone) look nice!!!

I'm also very excited that they brought in sheet rock! That means WALLS!!!!!

Swim Lessons

We put Ben in swim lessons for the first time this summer. Today they let the parents come down to the pool and see what the kids have learned. Here's a little clip of Ben swimming. So proud of him-this was his third lesson. Matt said that swim teachers are magic... I believe him :)

BIG TIME RUSH!

I took Ben to get the ticket to his first concert today!!! We are taking him to go see Big Time Rush at the water park in a couple of weeks :) He's very excited to go see his favorite band!

First I can't believe my 5 year old has a favorite band. Second I can't believe that I am taking him to a concert... haha! I didn't go to my first concert until I was 12 years old -New Kids On The Block!!! Ben's going to love it... not sure about Matt and I ;-)
